Parents & Guardians

Ever worry about the influences surrounding your child?

Ever wish you had extra support in guiding your child through life?

Think your child would benefit from having a positive, stable friend in their life?

If you answered "Yes" to any of the above questions, then you should consider the Griffin-Spalding County Mentor Program as an option for you and your child.

Mentors do not take the place of parents, grandparents, or any of the other important people that make up your child's life. They are simply a friend - someone to provide additional support and guidance to your child. Someone that can help support you in the toughest role of your life - caregiver of a child.

If your child attends one of the following schools –

Anne Street Elementary, Atkinson Elementary, Jackson Road Elementary, Moore Elementary, Cowan Road Middle, Kennedy Road Middle, Rehoboth Road Middle, Griffin High, or A.Z. Kelsey Academy

YOU can refer him or her to be mentored through our program.

For more information or to make a referral, contact your child’s school or the mentor program coordinator using the information found under the "Contact Us" tab. The required permission form is located below and is required prior to participation.
